Arsonists torched a caravan in Longford Way, Stanwell, on Tuesday night (Augst 26).

But now nothing remains but a pile of ash and debris after it went up in flames.
A ceasefire has been called in the trolley war between Tesco and Spelthorne Council in Stanwell.

A former landfill site is being dug up by Spelthorne Council to see if it is contaminated or is safe to be used as a sports ground or wildlife park.

A 299 home development proposed for Green Belt land in Stanwell is 'ludicrous,' according to residents determined for it to fail.
The plan to concrete almost five acres of open space next to Long Lane recreation ground is almost certain to be refused by Spelthorne Council on Wednesday August 20 as they have pledged to reject applications for Green Belt land.
TWO teenagers were banned from a shop in Clare Road, Stanwell after a suspected theft on Friday(8) at 5.25pm.
Police were called to the store and gave a gang of teenage boys and girls a warning about their conduct following the shoplifting allegation but no one was arrested or charged.
Members and guests of Ashford North and Stanwell South Conservative Group made the most of the summer weather for their annual garden party.

Arsonists caused damage to a park bench in Stanwell after setting light to dry grass on top of it on Wednesday, July 30.
