Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a derelict house in Long Lane, Stanwell, at about 7.15pm on Friday (November 21).
Staines firefighters put out the blaze and said the house was badly damaged.

Police are threatening youths in Stanwell with anti-social behaviour orders and even eviction from their homes if their loutish behaviour continues.
Shop keepers running businesses in Clare Road have been complaining to Stanwell beat bobbies that teenagers have been abusive to them, hanging around outside their shops using bad language, sitting in doorways and on top of cars, spitting into the street and intimidating customers in the last two months.
A woman who had been waiting seven months for her disabled parking space to be repainted has finally got her wish after the Herald and News reported the story.
Sheila Menzies, a 63-year-old arthritis-sufferer from Harian Close, Stanwell, said her spot was painted again on Wednesday November 13 after Surrey County Council had called and apologised that her request had "slipped through the net".

A Christmas fair will be held at St Mary's Church in High Street, Stanwell, on Saturday November 29.

A fire erupted at the Virgin Atlantic cargo terminal in Bedfont Road, Stanwell, when some welding work led to rubbish being set alight.
A plate which had been welded to the ground was loose and being welded to the floor again at about 11.35am on Thursday November 6 when the rubbish which had collected underneath caught fire.
A Staines firefighter who went out to the blaze said the plate was there to cover up hole left by a hoist was removed about eight years ago.
Two fire engines, from Staines and Sunbury, went out to the blaze but had to wait for an engineer to arrive to prize the plate from the floor before they could access the fire to put it out.
Work to patch up worn and damaged parts of Bedfont Road in Stanwell will be carried out on Monday November 17.
The work is due to be finished that day.
The annual general meeting of Stanwell Good Neighbours and its voluntary driving scheme will be held on Friday November 21 at 7.30pm at Stanwell Village Hall in High Street, Stanwell.
