Farm animals join in Christmas nativity

Posted by Ed Saunt on Dec 17, 08 08:16 AM in Good Causes

An animal-themed nativity was put on at Heathrow Special Needs Farm last week.

About 150 people turned up at the showpiece event in Longford Village, which featured real animals alongside the child actors.

Pupils from Town Farm primary school in Town Lane, Stanwell made up the choir for the show and many of the farm's forty animals were involved.

The rain held off for the duration of the show in the riding arena of the farm which offers a unique experience for children and adults from Spelthorne with special needs.

Father Christmas was there to hand out presents and farm secretary Ken Tinslay said: "Everyone had a wonderful time. It was an important day for us as it was an opportunity to show off the work we do and show that there is a need for this charity to exist."

We'd like to hear from you.
