Tragedy of knifed Stanwell mum

Posted by Steve Bax on Dec 5, 08 05:11 PM in Crime

carol-cannom.jpgA mother who left Stanwell to 'escape the rat race' has been stabbed more than 50 times and died in her Lincolnshire home.

Horse riding enthusiast Carol Cannom, 46, who left Stanwell in 1999, was knifed in the chest, stomach and arms with a rounded cutlery knife.

Some of the blows were so severe that they went completely through her arms as she tried to defend herself.

Her partner, 61-year-old Malcolm Palmer - a former driver at Heathrow Airport - has been arrested and charged with her murder.

Do you know Carol or her family? Please post your memories and tributes to her below.

We'd like to hear from you.
