Surrey and Met police joined forces to try and locate two possible car thieves, who fled the scene of a collision on the northbound M25, between junctions 13 and 14, on Monday, January 5 at about 1.53pm.

A grey Honda S2000 sports car was in minor collision with a white heavy goods vehicle, before colliding with the central reservation.

The driver and passenger of the Honda, both males, left the vehicle after the collision and fled the scene.

Surrey Police searched the area extensively for the two men, who they believe could have stolen the car.

The driver is described as being white, of large build, bald, wearing blue jeans and a white top. The passenger is also white, with blonde hair and was wearing blue jeans and a blue top.

The road was cleared to traffic at around 3.30pm.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or with any information should contact the Met Police traffic unit on 0207 230 0518 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
