New Staines firefighter attends his first blaze

Posted by Mark Goode on Jan 20, 10 01:01 PM in Local Authority

A new watch manager at Staines fire station attended his first fire on Sunday January 17.

Fire crews from Staines were called to Wellington Court at 6.55pm to reports of a bin fire.

Glynn Parry-Jones, 43, who has recently started as the white watch manager, led the crew, which put out the fire with a fire extinguisher.

It is not thought to be suspicious.
