'Feral youths' are being blamed for causing destruction to a Stanwell park, which has left residents in fear of a rise in crime.

On Sunday (February 14) night just under 30 youths caused carnage to an area of green land off Hadfield Road by tearing up signs, bins, and lampposts, and terrorising residents.

It is believed the amount of damage will run up to £3000, and residents are calling on the police to make a greater presence in the area.
